A room redo is in progress to ensure it fits perfectly. Fingers crossed it exceeds all expectations! Reveal coming Friday (unless a blizzard intervenes, then it's Monday!).

Amidst the rug excitement, a special handmade Christmas gift from my sister was almost overlooked. It was my favorite (don't tell the other presents!), and I saved it for last. Then, the rug saga took over. So, consider this Christmas in February!

My sister took my Christmas decorating book, "10-Minute Christmas Decorating Ideas," and embroidered the cover! Tiny flowers, holly berries, leaves, glittering snowflakes—it's breathtaking. Remember those mesmerizing embroidered book videos on Instagram? I never imagined my own book could be one of them.

She even added a new front page inside to hide the stitches. My Christmas morning reaction? Pure disbelief and wonder. The time, effort, and love poured into making my book even more beautiful are beyond words.
